SUSTAINABLE DOWNSTREAM BUSINESS FOR WOMEN

The Earth mother network seeks to enhance the entrepreneurial capabilities.

The Earth Mother Network is dedicated to empowering women groups involved in the downstream timber business in Ghana. By enhancing their entrepreneurial skills, the network aims to support the implementation of the Ghana Wood Tracking System (GWT). The network recognizes that sustainable and secure legal wood sources are crucial for the success of the GWT and for the livelihoods of the women groups and their communities.

Through capacity building and support, the Earth Mother Network aims to create a sustainable and socially responsible timber industry in Ghana. By focusing on women entrepreneurs, the network hopes to promote gender equality and empowerment, while also contributing to economic growth and poverty reduction in the country. The Earth Mother Network's efforts are a step towards creating a more equitable and sustainable future for Ghana's timber industry.
